Repacks iOS App
Lead Software Engineer @ OCAIS · iOS Development
Jun 2026–present
At Olympic Collectible AI Solutions (OCAIS), I extended the existing Repacks iOS app in Swift and SwiftUI, connecting native shopping and collection screens to the marketplace’s checkout, wallet, rewards, and account services. My work spans feature implementation, web/mobile behavior alignment, authentication, and failure recovery.
THE BRIEF
What needed to be built.
Bring the marketplace’s evolving purchase, payout, and account workflows into a native iPhone experience without letting mobile behavior drift from the web product or backend contracts.
MY CONTRIBUTIONS
My contribution.
Native interface & navigation
- Developed and refined SwiftUI shopping, collection, and pack-opening flows, including search, bulk selection, image lightboxes, and cross-tab navigation.
- Aligned native screens and shared components with the web product while adapting controls, sheets, and gestures for iPhone.
Checkout, wallets & payouts
- Extended Stripe checkout with wallet-and-card split payments, server-authoritative allocations, and recovery when the accepted payment allocation changes.
- Added standard and instant payout selection, fee and eligibility display, and retry-aware payout handling.
Authentication & app links
- Implemented native passkey sign-in and management using AuthenticationServices.
- Consolidated authenticated WKWebView session bridging and routed referral, pack-share, and printed-QR claim links through login to their destination.
Rewards, referrals & physical packs
- Built native rewards balances, tier progression, points history, and pack redemption, plus referral sharing and code capture at signup.
- Added a physical-pack claim flow with explicit confirmation and handling for unfamiliar server response values.
Recovery & regression tests
- Added XCTest coverage for payment allocation, payouts, deep links, referral capture, account flows, and collection rules.
- Implemented rate-limit countdowns and retries, request-ID error details, and tolerant status decoding so a new server value does not break the entire collection.
WHY THIS MATTERS
A native interface still shares the marketplace’s money, inventory, and account state. I keep payment and eligibility rules aligned with server responses, preserve retry state when an outcome is uncertain, and test client behavior against the web flow rather than inventing a second set of product rules.
THE RESULT
Native iOS features connected to the full commerce workflow.
At OCAIS, I extended an existing team app across shopping, payments, payouts, identity, rewards, and collection workflows. The work combines SwiftUI feature development with API integration and regression tests, making mobile engineering part of my full-stack scope.
